SG:6 is a Message Board/Play by Forum simulation set inside the modern day setting. It is a part of Stargate Command, which is a fleet in the Starfleet Legacy Alliance.
SG:6 was started in 2003 as the second Stargate sim in the SLA. As such, this sim is firmly into its fifth year of existence. The sim currently posts its missions on the Ten Forward Boards for the SLA.
The current mission is called "Demons" and is currently set in 2007. As such, the team is starting to head into the Stargate, while their leader, Colonel Melinda Stone, is currently bedridden and unable to lead the team. Currently, former SG:6 Executive Officer Major Kurt Michaelis is now the Commanding Officer. While Interim Commanding Officer, Major Corey Green, is forced to the position of Executive Officer.
The sim is currently looking for a few good men and women who are willing to help the sim get back on its collective feet.
